I took these pics with my new camera :) Merry Christmas to me! I got it just in time :) I am so excited!
...haven't done many pictures indoors, I usually always use natural light. So, I will be playing around with it alot this winter. Gotta go play "santa" now :)

I found this the other day on a blog and just thought it was perfect. I pray before every session...I always ask him to help me capture that perfect moment...I truly believe that we can do all things through him (it says so in scripture) and I always ask for him to work through me. I have my own words that I use, but never do they sound like this. (I am so happy that he knows my heart, because I have never thought I say the "right" words in prayer) It is beautiful. :)
Dear God,
As I bring my subject into focus and prepare to make each portrait,
never let me forget that I’m creating treasures for some family,

With Thanksgiving coming in 1 week, yes 1 week...Can you believe it! There really is so much for us to be thankful for. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful family...God has blessed me with 2 sweet, beautiful children! I am so happy that "home school" is going much better! I am so blessed to have a job that I love so much! And, blessed to have such awesome friends and clients!

These 2 littles girls are so precious!!! "B" looks like Shirley Temple! She is so beautiful...look at the curls :) Her little sister gave me a workout! When kiddos are 18-24 month range...I usually plan for dancing, yelling, acting out beyond my imagination :) I always wonder what I look like in the eyes of an adult...ok, I don't think I wanna know. I guess you just do what you gotta do! It always nice and helpful when the parents are relaxed (especially dad) and they totally were!

They had about a 3 hour notice for this session...I had a rescheduled session on this day and thought what the heck...I'd just give them a call to see if they wanted to take this appt instead of waiting...She literally had 3 hours to get ready for it! And she even went shopping before the appt! Dayna, you rock!
Haven't been able to work on your pics just yet...but, wanted to at least get a few sneak peaks done. Can't wait to work on all of them!
